List of ingredients
- 1 pumpkin and walnut loaf 350g
- 1 medium onion
- 100g bacon lardons
- 100g small sausages, sliced into rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Pepper, to taste
- 200g mayonnaise
- 100g grated cheese
- Chopped parsley, to taste
Preparation steps
Filling preparation
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion until translucent.
- Add the bacon and sausage, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook until golden brown.
- Remove from the heat and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
- Add the mayonnaise, grated cheese, and chopped parsley. Mix well and set aside.
Bread preparation
- Cut off the top of the pumpkin and walnut bread.
- Carefully remove the inside of the bread, leaving a hollow space for the filling.
- Fill the bread with the prepared mixture.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 15 minutes.
