  • 1 pumpkin and walnut loaf  350g
  • 1 medium onion
  • 100g bacon lardons
  • 100g small sausages, sliced into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 200g mayonnaise
  • 100g grated cheese
  • Chopped parsley, to taste

Filling preparation

  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion until translucent.
  • Add the bacon and sausage, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook until golden brown.
  • Remove from the heat and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
  • Add the mayonnaise, grated cheese, and chopped parsley. Mix well and set aside.

Bread preparation

  • Cut off the top of the pumpkin and walnut bread.
  • Carefully remove the inside of the bread, leaving a hollow space for the filling.
  • Fill the bread with the prepared mixture.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 15 minutes.
